Valero vs DeMarco (full fight)

I was unaware of this fight, but when somebody yesterday requested a video of this fight, I was confused. Didn’t Valero fight in mid December? And now fighting again less than two months later? Whatever it is, props to him for remaining busy in his defenses. Here’s the fight that took place between him and Antonio DeMarco for Valero’s WBC lightweight title:

I hope Manny Pacquiao will face Valero after this Clottey Fight… I think this will be a great match..

Good win for Valero yet I am not so sure he can compete with the best in his division.

Don’t get me wrong I am slowly becoming a fan of Valero but this guy has to keep his mouth closed while fighting and work more on covering up or else he ain’t going to last much.

Valero’s has been calling out Pacquiao for quite some time now yet I am not so sure he can deal with Pacquiao’s speed. Valero needs to have a little more patience he seems to get too dam anxious for the KO. We all know in boxing the KO will come within time but sometimes it doesn’t come then what?

Nah, Valero needs to improve his defense and learn to not throw such wide open shots. Pacquiao’s speed would allow him to hit Valero after every single hook unless Valero develops better defense or starts to throw more compact hooks. He has such tremendous upside though, I really want to see who his next opponent is.

Yeah! I totally agree.. he should improve more his defense.. Pacquiao is a strong and has a speed fighter..

I think Valero should go after the Diaz vs Katsidis winner next. Perhaps after that a fight with Bradley would be good or even a bout with Amir Khan. Once he gets these under his belt and shows improvement in each one, I believe he could possibly set up a match with Pacquiao.

i think this Valero sucks. dont get me i respect him, to get in the ring in itself takes heart but skillfuly he’s a bum. pretty fast hands not amazing but none the less fast enough. no head movement, no side movement…no nothin, just strong wild punches. he might wanna stay at light weight until he developes better skill and keep his damn elbows in and learn how to punch straight and crisp. dont think he’ll last very long with out doin so.
