What can I say. Due to Holyfield’s probable death this Saturday at the hands of the giant Valuev, I decided to take some time to pay a little homage to this warrior’s career. Whether he keeps fighting in order to keep paying his bills (which includes paying $500,000 per year for child support and owing roughly around 11 to 12 million dollars to various creditors) or in order to achieve his last goal of becoming the oldest Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World, we will always remember him for his great bouts against Tyson and Bowe. Take nothing away from The Real Deal, he will always be the People’s Champion. We will always love you Holyfield, but as of Saturday night, Rest In Peace.

Yea, a classic bout. And it showed the world how Tyson was never prepared to fight bouts going the distance. Since he knocked people out mostly between rounds 1 and 4, he just never had the stamina to go through 12 full rounds.

I watched the first couple of rounds of the Holyfield v Valuev fight, and couldn’t stand anymore.

Everytime I watch this fight it just makes me sick on how Headbuttlowfield kept headbutting Tyson throughout the entire fight without being warned nor having a point deducted and the clinching by Headbuttlowfield what the fuck is up with that?
